Rao IIT Academy celebrated Eureka 2017 – Felicitation Ceremony on 2nd July 2017 in a 5-Star Hotel – Ramada Powai Hotel and Convention Centre , Powai, Mumbai.

Performance by Sand Artist – Manisha Swarkar

Event started with a performance by Sand-Artist, Manisha Swarnkar who gave the pictorial journey of the child, the mother and the father and then the contribution made by Rao IIT Academy in their success.

The chief guest for the occasion was former vice-chancellor Mumbai University – Dr. Rajan Welukar, chairman of the organization – Dr.BV Rao, the academic mentor of the organization – Dr. Murti Sir. Other dignitaries of the organization were also present.

Dr. Rajan Welukar gave expertise to the students who qualified JEE Main & Advanced and Medical examinations that how science has to relate to humanities & the social issues, and the social problems so that they can do a lot of reading. They should read human issues, they should read history, they should read other human related evolutions & their problems and then should try to achieve a solution to it so that mankind can be better served.IMG_0044

Dr. B.V. Rao emphasized that the credit of student’s success goes to the parents apart from the coaching classes where they achieve their great success.



Academic mentor of Rao IIT Academy – Dr. Murti Yerrapragada

Dr. Murti emphasized on the ability to learn science by the students. He told students to try to be humble and try to gain knowledge and impact their contribution to the nation at large and humanity-mankind.IMG_0091


MD & CEO, Rao IIT Academy – Mr. Vinay Kumar

The M.D. & CEO of Rao IIT Academy, Mr. Vinay Kumar told the audience that total selections in JEE-Advanced were 1311 out 3240. Out of 1200 students qualified from Mumbai in JEE Advanced, 350+ were only from Rao IIT Academy. Also in medical, there were high rankings. 9 ranks in top 100 in JEE-Advanced and in AIIMS, Rank 78 and 166. In NEET examination, the top ranker was AIR 78 in general category. Overall the success of the academy was great and the number of students qualified these year has just grown exponentially.IMG_0110


After the addressal by Chief guests , the felicitation was carried out where the achievers of JEE Main, JEE Advanced,MH-CET, NEET, AIIMS. BITSAT etc  were given gifts and cash prizes for their selection. It was handed over by Dr. Rajan Sir, Dr. Murti Sir & Dr. BV Rao Sir. The list of Top rankers are as follows.

Arjit Jain – JEE Advanced Mumbai Topper of Rao IIT Academy

Arjit is the Mumbai Topper of Rao IIT Academy in JEE Advanced 2017. He had secured AIR 53 in JEE Advanced. He had secured AIR 4 in NEST & AIR 186 in JEE Main. Arjit was also one of the winners of Maharashtra Best Students contest winner 2014.

Aman Kansal – JEE Advanced Topper of Rao IIT Academy

Aman Kansal is the JEE Advanced Topper of Rao IIT Academy. He had secured AIR 15 in JEE Advanced and also score 454 out of 450 in BITSAT 2017.

Tezan Sahu – Maharashta’s Best Student Contest 2014 winner

Tezan Sahu was the winner of Maharashtra’s Best Student Contest 2014. He had also secured AIR 514 in JEE Advanced 2017.

Shreshth Geevith had secured 3rd Rank in Maharashta Best Student Contest 2014. He had also secured Rank 2385 in JEE Advanced 2017.
