The date for conducting Joint Entrance Exam (Advanced) – 2018 was finalized at an important JAB (Joint Admission Board) meeting held at IIT Kanpur on Sunday (17th September 2017). In the presence of JAB members, it was decided that JEE (Advanced) – 2018 would be held on Sunday, 20th May 2018.
“The decision regarding whether the JEE (Advanced) – 2018 would be held through online mode or Computer Based test (CBT) is likely to be taken in next 10 days” – Organizing Chairman of JEE (Advanced) – 2018, Prof Shalabh .
This time IIT Kanpur is the organizing IIT of JEE Advanced and other zonal IITs would be coordinating with it. Therefore, the important JAB meeting was held at IIT Kanpur and was attended by Directors of various zonal and non-zonal IITs. The meeting was headed by JAB Chairman, Prof Indranil Manna and Organisation Chairman, JEE (Advanced) – 2018, Prof Shalabh.
JEE (Advanced) – 2018 would be held for admission to undergraduate courses (B.Tech/BE) at IITs Candidates who would be clearing the JEE (Mains) – 2018 would be getting a chance to appear at JEE (Advanced).
